Our manuscript describing the nanomolar inhibitor of mitochondrial oxygen and fumarate respiration of Echinococcus multilocularis was published in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy - ASM. Congratulations to Enkai and all co-authors for the manuscript entitled "Killing two birds with one stone: discovery of dual inhibitors of oxygen and fumarate respiration in zoonotic parasite, Echinococcus multilocularis". Such discovery represents the first-of-its-kind and the proof-of-concept that mitochondrial respiration from Echinococcus parasite is a drug target.
