Amastigotes of Leishmania amazonensis are obtained from skin of infected mouse. They were applied on glass slide, fixed and stained with Giemsa’s solution. The amastigote was spherical shape and no flagellum. Nucleus and kinetoplast were stained heavily, and observed as large and small spot, respectively. Bar indicated as 20 μm.
