On September 10, 2023, we held a midterm report meeting on this jiggers project at an official side event commemorating the 30th anniversary of TICAD hosted by the JICA Kyushu Center in Nagasaki City.
A variety of African cooperation was introduced, including introductions to the efforts of companies in Nagasaki Prefecture that will be collaborating in the future, such as Ogawa contractor and Sasebo National Institute of Technology, as well as presentations by students studying at Nagasaki University after working as JICA volunteers in Africa. It was a great opportunity to connect with people with the keywords “Africa” and “health.”
