Electron Microscope Unit

Electron Microscope Unit supports ultrastructural characterization of microbial pathogens and the structural change of the pathogen-infected cells. This unit offers high quality imaging services by state-of-art techniques such as conventional and immuno-electron microscopy, and also provides sample preparation for EM observation. This unit is responsible for Transmission Electron Microscope (JEOL), Ultra-Microtomes (LEICA), vacuum coater (Sanyu Electron), Hydrophilic Treatment Device (JEOL) in addition to general laboratory facilities for a wide range application of electron microscopy.
