Re-opening Ceremony Held After Laboratory Renovation at NUITM Kenya Research Station

An opening ceremony was held on October 27, 2022, to commemorate the completion of the redevelopment of the NUITM laboratory that has been underway since last year. Prof. Elijah Songok, representing the Kenya Medical Research Institute, delivered an opening address in which he expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and partnership with Nagasaki University, its contribution to research on infectious diseases, and its human resource development. From Nagasaki, the Dean of NUITM, Prof. Osamu Kaneko, gave an address, and after the ceremony, an unveiling tour of the new laboratory was conducted for interested parties.
