JICA Special Advisor Dr. Asahiko Mihara and Former MP, Prof Tsutomu Tomioka visited Kenya Research Station on 23rd May 2022. Chief Representative, Prof Satoshi Kaneko presented the history and current activity of the Kenya Research Station. After the presentation, they discussed the project such as WIRE (Woman and Infant Registration System) project and the corporation between Africa union and Kenya by collaboration between JICA and Nagasaki University. Also, they observed the new NUITM-KEMRI lab and KEMRI-CMR lab.
