The Nairobi Atomic Bomb Exhibition Organizing Committee, formed by the United Nations staff, UN specialized agencies, and international organizations in Kenya, has organized the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Poster Exhibition. April 26, 2021, is the 35th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident. They have decided to hold a special online poster exhibition from April 26 to May 31, as the “Chernobyl-Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Poster Exhibition” in collaboration with the Embassy Ukraine Kenya.

The opening ceremony for the exhibition was held at 5:00 p.m. (Nairobi time) on April 26. Emeritus Prof Shunichi Yamashita and Ms. Watanabe, a fifth-year medical student from our university, gave speeches as representatives of young people.
