Pre-workshop Preparation

This workshop consists of a series of lectures and hands-ons using R programming software. Participants are required to bring a notebook computer (Windows or Mac) and perform the following before the day of the workshop.

  1. Workshop materials can be download here. It contains a Guide to install R and RStudio, a prerequirement R script, and lecture slides.
  2. Please follow the instructions in the Guide to install R and RStudio.
  3. Make sure you are able to execute all the codes in the prerequirement.R script. (Internet connection is needed).
  4. If you encounter problem, please come early to the workshop (8:00am) to get help from the assistants.
  5. The R scripts for data analysis practical (session 2.1 and 3.1) can be downloaded here.
