Training Course in Research of Tropical Medicine |
Arrangements for conducting the course in this Institute are
administered by Japan International Cooperation Agency, commissioned by the Government
of Japan to execute Technical Cooperation Programs from 1983. This course is
conducted by the Government of Japan as a part of its Technical Cooperation Programs
for developing countries with a view of contributing to upgrading their standards
in tropical medicine and to promoting friendly relations to the countries.
The purpose of this course is to help the control of endemic and epidemic diseases
infesting the Torrid Zone. Through the guidance of the staff of the Institute,
the participants will enrich their fundamental knowledge and practical techniques
for various medical problems in the tropics.
Individual participants will study on a selected subject in the responsible
department for a year. Capacity of each department is normally limited to one
person.
